Binotto and the 'heated' conversation with Leclerc: "I told him to keep calm"

Mattia Binotto, boss of Scuderia Ferrari, has revealed the famous and tense conversation he had with Charles Leclerc after the British Grand Prix.

Leclerc was coming off a disappointment, as he was leading the race until the appearance of the safety car and was overtaken by several drivers who came with fresher tires.

In the end, the victory went to Carlos Sainz and the Monegasque was left off the podium. The disappointment was visible on his face and Mattia Binotto had a very 'heated' conversation with him which was broadcast on the official broadcast of the race. Charles Leclerc, for his part, did not want to add fuel to the fire and insisted that Mattia Binotto only "wanted to cheer me up". Subject closed… for now.
